Active Skimmer

This is an active recovery device for floating free-phase hydrocarbons.

It is installed together with top-loading or top-inlet pneumatic pumps.

This system is used only to recover the floating product, and it can follow the natural fluctuations of the water table thanks to its float with a calibrated specific gravity. Only free product is pumped.

It is a fully self-contained active hydrocarbon recovery system that requires only a source of compressed air.

As it does not use electrical power, it can be installed in ATEX-classified zones.
