The work
Urban land in Barcelona with TPH and benzene in the saturated zone, with clays in the unsaturated zone and fine sands and silts in the saturated zone.
We applied in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) with sodium percarbonate as oxidant and ferrous sulphate heptahydrate as catalyst. Most of the injection took place between 7.70 and 8.60 metres, in 90 cm steps and at pressures of 2 to 6 bar.
