The work
On an industrial site in Portugal we built an injectable permeable reactive barrier (PRB) to contain chlorinated solvents: PetroFix colloidal activated carbon combined with in situ bioremediation (ISB) using electron acceptors (EAB) by REGENESIS.
We injected into the water-table fluctuation zone and the saturated zone, over sandy man-made fill and natural silty-clay soil: 48 points and 56,880 litres in 20 days.
Result
Improved analytical results.
