The work
An industrial site in Cantabria with chlorinated solvents (PCE and TCE) in highly heterogeneous ground: silts, sands, boulders and weathered rock.
We applied in situ chemical reduction (ISCR) with 3DME and ZVI by REGENESIS in both the saturated and unsaturated zones, down to 9.5 metres. We injected in steps of 20 to 90 cm with two types of tip: GEOPROBE Pressure Activated Injection Probe and ESP retractable tip.
