The work
An injectable permeable reactive barrier (PRB) to stop hydrocarbons (TPH C5‑C40) on an industrial site in Algeciras: PetroFix colloidal activated carbon combined with in situ bioremediation (ISB) using electron acceptors (EAB) by REGENESIS.
At each of the 5 points we injected every 30 cm from 6.00 up to 2.10 metres, 13 steps per point, at 1 – 2 bar and an average flow of 31.5 l/min. In total, 9,100 litres in two and a half days.
