O2Diff – Ceramic Air Diffuser

Soilutions sells ceramic air diffusers for installation in boreholes that require aeration for biostimulation processes.

We have called them O₂Diff, and each consists of a porous filter of square cross-section, made of a highly resistant ceramic material, with compact dimensions (30.5 x 30.5 x 305 mm). At the top it is fitted with a PE barb-type connector for 8×6 mm tubing. Available in many other sizes on request.

With O₂Diff, dissolved oxygen concentrations in groundwater of up to 20 mg/l can be achieved. It is a physical aeration process. It requires simple infrastructure. Small slots would be cut into the site paving to create an aeration circuit from the compressor or compressed air source to the O₂Diff ceramic air diffusers, located in each of the boreholes to be aerated. If there is no vehicle traffic on site, the compressed air lines would simply need to be run overhead to the boreholes to be oxygenated.

Its installation is fully compatible with sampling or with the injection of surfactants, biostimulants and other chemical reagents.

Soilutions offers its clients the sale of the product, as well as complete installation (including minor civil works or slots cut into the paving), commissioning of the system and its subsequent maintenance.
