Description

The Dipper-Tough is a rugged, high-quality instrument used to measure static and drawdown head levels at waste management and disposal sites, and in other impacted environments. The drawDown function on the dipper-Tough makes this unit ideal for use during pump-and-treat testing when contaminants are found in the groundwater.

The high-strength, Kynar-coated, hydrocarbon-resistant steel-core tape is embedded directly into the probe body, giving the tape and probe * a longer service life when used in harsh environments. The Dipper-Tough is manufactured without a link, which can deteriorate in corrosive or high-temperature environments, to extend the service life of the meter. Heron Instruments recommends not using the same water level meter for harsh environments and for drinking water, as cross-contamination could occur. We recommend our dipper-T2 for use in drinking water.

Electronic module (IP65) – mode switch for static and drawdown levels, removable for easy cleaning and maintenance. Circuits and components are potted to protect them from moisture and dust ingress.
