The Heron skinny dipper is known for its yellow polyethylene-coated steel tape, which measures water depth with great accuracy. Available in both metric and engineering scale.
- Electronic module (IP65) – mode switch for static and drawdown levels, removable for easy cleaning and maintenance. Circuits and components are potted to protect them from moisture and dust ingress.
- Sensitivity switch: to adjust for false alarms caused by the cascade effect
- Probe (IP68) – ¼″, fully submersible to 100 m / 300′ for 20 minutes
- Tape – ¼″ extruded polyethylene tape - markings in metric (mm) or engineering (1/100′) scale
