On many occasions, adverse weather impairs the proper functioning of the well chambers that protect piezometers, to the point of preventing the technician from accessing them to take the relevant measurements and/or samples. Soilutions offers its clients the option of replacing these chambers in record time and at a very competitive price anywhere in Spain.
The well chamber (whether one of the old two-hole type or one of the more modern 127 mm PCJ chambers) is replaced in such a way as to restore the watertightness of the chamber–borehole assembly, using bentonite and cement. The chamber’s surface cover will sit a few millimetres above the pavement to prevent rainwater from accumulating (which may contain hydrocarbons from the refuelling area). A cement-only paste is applied around the chamber for a better finish that also ensures impermeability.
